I gotta tell ya…
One of my favorite things, is to watch the horses run and play in the pastures.
I open the gates everyday for their grazing enjoyment.
Yesterday I decided to grab my camera, for some action shots.
You know, you can never have enough of those stored on your computer.
So here we go!
Even fat, little Tater Tot got into the race.
Everyone seemed to be doing their own figure 8 patterns, almost playing chicken with each other.
Farting and squealing…
Squealing and farting…
Ahhh,
Just such a feeling of beauty,
grace…
…and comic relief.
Don’t sell him short (yes pun intended) those little legs were a blur.
Atta boy Tater!
I see Kentucky Derby in his future.
Don’t you?

So I was going through pictures of my “kids” today and thought this one portrayed Mother’s Day pretty well.
Little Sora, born May 7th, 2011. One day before Mother’s Day that year.
Everyone is content and in love. Including me.
Wishing you all a fabulous Mother’s Day this year.

I’ll never get sick of posting photos like this.
I’m amazed at how wonderful mares can be when the baby is giving some pretty good udder bumps to open the milk bar! Ouch
Belly (and face) full of warm milk.

What does a girl like me do on a beautiful fall day?
I do whatever the critters want…
Who needs expensive toys when you have corn fields and stuff around the farm?
When you’re running at the speed of light, it helps to stick out your tongue.
This is a great photo if you don’t mind the fresh “I just rolled in something but, maybe my ear will hide it” look.
Got one shot of Emma as she sat down for 1/100th of a second.
My road to a sane, take me anywhere, horse…
Let’s recycle.
Sora wanted to mow the lawn and walked over.
The wind was blowing. That’s my baby, just keep munching away.
Oops! Almost forgot the princess!
Until next time…Appy trails

This is the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this challenge.
We live on a farm and I think this is a beautiful moment.
Whether you’re a horse, dog, cat, cow, human or basically “All Creatures Great And Small”.
Did you read those books by James Herriot?
You should.
Get ready…
Are you sure you want to see?
Ok…
here…
it…
is…
Inside for 11 months and 10 days.
Outside…finally, after 11 months and 10 days.
Until next time…Appy trails.
